Ronald S. Loser is a 1958 graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law and served as Arapahoe County Attorney from 1965 to 1979. He has represented Centennial Airport from its inception to the present date. Ron has many years experience in municipal and quasi-municipal governmental law and has participated in major litigation in these areas. Ron was instrumental in State Highway Commission v. Haase, which was an original proceeding which resulted in the overruling of Governor Lamm’s attempt to transfer I-470 construction funds to mass transit programs; City of Glendale v. Buchanan resulting in the affirmation that the “Poundstone Amendment” was a valid constitutional amendment; and City and County of Denver v. Board of County Commissioners which resulted in the closing of the Lowry landfill to the dumping of hazardous waste materials. Mr. Loser has had a long time association with Colorado special districts and has represented the Littleton Fire District and the Villages at Castle Rock Metropolitan Districts.
